The House of Prana

A patient kind of beauty.

Prana means breath — the slow draw of it. Our gowns are made the same way: one stitch, one fitting, one hand-cut motif at a time.

Founded around the simple belief that a bride should not feel hurried, Prana works with a small group of artisans in a single light-filled studio. We do not chase trends. We listen — to the bride, to the fabric, to the silence between fittings.

Every gown is drawn first. Then toiled in calico. Then cut in silk, draped on a stand, returned to the table, returned to the stand, and finished by hand. A single dress can take six hundred hours.

We choose our fabrics from small mills in Como and Lyon, our lace from the houses of Calais. We do not produce anything we are not proud to attach the Prana name to.
